We're back on the ship and inching our way to
Panama. This morning I was sitting in the one of the
classrooms listening to the Global Seminar lecture and was looking out the
window watching the waves go by so very slowly.
I think I could row faster than that!
Since we need as many class days as possible in between countries, we
are sailing from port to port at a glacial pace. Makes for a very smooth ride though so
nothing to complain about there.
I spent the morning getting caught up on blog posts from the
Galapagos and reliving the wonderful memories.
It’s difficult to believe I’ve had the great gift of seeing two
phenomenal places within the last week – Machu Picchu and the Galapagos. Life doesn’t get much better than this!
Wasn't much on the agenda today other than working in the
library in the afternoon which doesn’t necessarily make for an interesting blog
entry. I arranged to meet with my
extended family for dinner but only two out of my four children showed up so
they are now my favorites – the other two are going to be grounded and sent to their rooms.
Tonight is the student, staff and faculty talent show. Nobody has had time to work on their acts so it should be interesting to see what the results are. Might be tragic but I'm hoping it will be a lot of fun instead.
One more day until Panama!
