This has been a very blah day and
the food in the dining hall was totally gross today.
I tried to get some stuff done in the library today and felt like warmed-over pond scum so I left the students in charge and went back to my cabin for a nap.
It helped a lot but then we had a life boat drill this evening and I stood in the heat for 45 minutes dressed in warm clothes (it’s required) and life vest packed together with 700 of my closest friends.
Not good, dear, not good.
The upshot of all of this whining is to say that the blog is going to be an abysmal failure tonight.
Many apologies and I promise to be back to my usual snarky self tomorrow.
Right now I’m going to curl up in bed with my favorite author, Diana Gabaldon, and make like a hermit for the rest of the evening.
